The project checks if the selection of beneficiaries is as per guidelines and the condition of the families that are beneficiaries. Also, to find out key drivers of Samajwadi Pension Yojna by determining factors which are responsible for successful/poor implementation of Yojna. (eg: Transfer of funds, awareness relating to education, health and literacy, readiness of service providers, effectiveness of monitoring system). The project involves suggesting measures and inventions for sustainability and scalability of Samajwadi Pension Yojna. It provides a review of the existing MIS used by NIC Lucknow as well as to develop a mobile based application for “Prasooti” and “Tika Karan” to monitor changes in profile and livelihoods of beneficiaries in UP Government.

From the survey carried out at National Informatics Centre(NIC), it was observed that an MIS application has been used by NIC of Lucknow to maintain the health records of Tika Karan and Prasuti Karan in UP state. A traditional approach is being used by healthcare officers to maintain the health records of people living in Rural and Urban sector in UP state. Records are not updated on a real time basis. Existing applications require data to be collected from various Health officer of the Rural and Urban area, which cause in increasing the time for data entries. Hence data entry operation is time-consuming. The research work is required to design a smartphone application focusing on a real-time update of data  of samajwadi pension yojna scheme.
